Introduction

The Premium Sticker marks the content that is restricted, reserved for the subscribers of the app. It appears in the lists and widgets of content, and in the detail of each restricted item, so that readers know at a glance which content is exclusive to subscribers.

It comes with Memberships, the extension that lets an app sell subscriptions. Each piece of content is restricted, or left free, from the back office, and the sticker follows. It is displayed to the users who are not subscribed, and also to the subscribers who are logged in, to show them the premium content their subscription gives access to.

Anatomy

Two forms

The Premium Sticker takes two forms. In a list, it is a small sticker displayed before the title of the item, with an icon or a logo on its background. In the detail of the item, it becomes a text sticker, a short label on the same background, displayed above the title.

Properties

Icon or logo

In the lists, the sticker holds either an icon of the GoodBarber library, with a color or a gradient of its own, or a logo uploaded from the back office. With a logo, the color setting disappears, since the logo brings its own colors.

Text

In the detail of an item, the sticker shows a text of up to 40 characters, with its own font, size and color. The text can never be empty. When it is deleted, the default text comes back.

Background

The background of the sticker is a Color or a Gradient, and it can also be transparent. It is the same for both forms.

Shape

The sticker has its own shape, sharp, rounded or round, set in the back office. It does not follow the Shape of the app, so an app with rounded corners can show sharp stickers.

Layout

In a list

In a list, the sticker is always displayed before the title of the item, on its first line, so that the title reads right after it.

In the detail

In the detail, the sticker is displayed above the title, on its own line, and follows the alignment of the title, centered when the title is centered. In some Sound detail templates, it is displayed below the title instead.

Placement

The sticker appears wherever a restricted item is shown, in the widgets of the home, in the lists of the sections, search and bookmarks included, and in the detail of the item. Since it always goes with the title, only the views without a title do not show it.
